Backgammon - Classic Board Game

Backgammon is a complete, production-ready board game built with Flutter. Clean code, no backend required, ready to publish on Google Play or App Store with minimal setup.

This is a full source code package , not a template or snippet. Everything is already working, tested, and polished.

What's included

The game runs 1 human player against 1 AI opponents (Change randomly 4 AI avatars)  with full classic backgammon rules , dice rolling, pawn capture, safe zones, home stretch, and win detection with a final rankings screen.

Each AI opponent has an animated avatar that reacts in real time. They laugh when they capture your pawn, cry when you send them home, wave at the start, and celebrate when they win. There are 23 quick chat reactions the player can send too, and everything translates based on the selected language.

The menu has a board selector with 3 included designs. Adding more boards later is just dropping a PNG file in the boards folder , no code changes needed.

Language support covers English, Arabic, French, Spanish, and Turkish. The switcher is built into the menu and changes everything instantly including game messages and AI reactions. Arabic is RTL aware.

Sound effects are included for dice rolls, moves, captures, turn changes, and avatar voices.

Tech stack

Flutter and Dart, Flame for avatar sprite animations, audioplayers for sound. No Firebase, no Supabase, no internet connection required.

Setup

Three commands and it runs:

flutter pub get flutter gen-l10n flutter run

Works on Android and iOS.
